Design for Edgar and Ellen

These were designs that I did for the Edgar and Ellen series back in 2007. 2 predominant styles of designs were featured in the show. The twisted style for the twisted twins Edgar and Ellen, and the rounded style for the rest of the city of Nod's Limbs.

Edgar and Ellen Colour Work

In 2007 I worked on another animated series called Edgar and Ellen based on the book by Charles Ogden and illustrator Rick Carton. I worked as a colourist for the first 6-episode specials that aired on Nickelodeon. Consequently, the show was green-lit for a series and I worked on prop design, and a bit of colour styling on the side.

This set of three above was colouring work done in photoshop. The designs were done by my super supervisor Byron Leboe.

All these bgs were colouring works, while I additionally colour-styled the cafe on the top right of the pic. I think these were Byron's designs that i coloured too.

When the series started, I worked primarily as prop designer for the show. But managed to sneak in a couple of colour-styling pieces during my already non-existant social life. Colour-styling characters are a joy, espcially when the designs are done by my buddy, Jenny Gofman.

Viva Pinata!

This is some work I did for the Viva Pinata tv series.Let me introduce Franklin's lil' surf shack inspired house. He's the bear that's a big surfer-type dude (don't ask me how a bear's predisposed to surfing.) But anyway the premise of the series is quite funny, check it out on DVD available at Amazon.

Designs + Colour work for The Story Tree

My very first attempt in the world of animation while in school back in 2006. Here are some designs and colour work from "The Story Tree". Pure blood, sweat and tears I tell ya.
